Once an image is out, it feels permanent. It isn’t.

Most major platforms — Google, Reddit, X, Discord, and every mainstream adult host — have published NCII and DMCA processes that work, when they’re invoked correctly. The hard part isn’t finding a process. It’s running one without burning out, without exposing more of yourself, and without giving up halfway through.

Set up a confidential case in under two minutes.

Tell us only what’s needed to act. We never ask for proof of identity. You can use a pseudonym, a dedicated email, and a display name. Your account is yours — only you decide who can see what.

  • Pseudonymous account creation, no ID check
  • Optional end-to-end encryption on case notes
  • Designate a trusted contact for emergency handoff
  • One-click pause or full account freeze

Fingerprinting
Your original file stays on your device.

The hash is computed in your browser. We only ever store the fingerprint, not the image or video itself.

We never see your original file.

Upload happens only in your browser. We extract a perceptual hash — a short, irreversible fingerprint — and discard the original. Even if our servers were seized tomorrow, the file you sent is not in them, because it never left your device.

  • Browser-side perceptual hashing
  • Originals are never uploaded to our servers
  • Image, video, and animated GIF support
  • Re-fingerprint as many items as you need

Scan the open web for matches.

Once a fingerprint is registered, we run scheduled reverse searches against public search engines, mainstream social platforms, file hosts, tube sites, and known leak aggregators. New matches arrive in your dashboard with a confidence score — you review before anything is sent.

  • Scheduled re-scans at your chosen cadence
  • Confidence-scored findings queue
  • Email digest of new matches, no account login required to read
  • Optional alert suppression during high-stress periods
What we scan
The places images actually get shared.

Google, Bing, Reddit, X, Discord, mainstream hosts, leak aggregators. New matches arrive in your dashboard with a confidence score. You decide what gets a notice.

Sending the notice
Host-specific, NCII-compliant, ready to send.

We draft the right notice for the right host, file under our company name, and log a copy you can reference. We re-check the URL automatically.

We draft and send. You stay in control.

takedowns generates a takedown notice tailored to the host — DMCA, NCII-specific process, or platform-specific form — and sends it under your name. Every dispatch is logged with a tamper-evident timestamp and a copy you can reference later.

  • Pre-filled, host-specific notice templates
  • Per-host abuse contact routing
  • Counter-notice response tracking
  • Re-dispatch on inactivity

Free for individuals. No card required.

The Free plan is genuinely enough for most individual cases: 1 active case, 10 scans per month, 5 takedown notices. You only need a paid plan if you have multiple cases, an advocate handoff, or an unusually high volume of leaks.

Survivor FAQ

No. takedowns only stores perceptual fingerprints and metadata, never the raw source media. The fingerprint is computed in your browser. Even if our infrastructure were breached, your original files are not there to leak, because they were never uploaded.

Yes. We don’t require identity verification. You can use a pseudonym, a dedicated email address, and any display name. We do not log your IP address in a way that ties it to your case. If you need additional anonymity, run takedowns over Tor — the workflow works the same way.

Yes. The Free plan is genuinely free for personal use: 1 active case, 10 scans per month, 5 takedown notices, no card required. Paid plans exist for organizations, advocates managing many cases, and high-volume situations. We will never upsell you based on the content of your case.

Yes. On the Standard and Pro plans you can hand off your case folder to a vetted advocate or support organization. They see only what you choose to share, and you can revoke access at any time. takedowns itself is not a counselling service — for emotional support, please reach out to a crisis line in your country.

Most major platforms process NCII and DMCA reports within 24–72 hours. Smaller hosts vary. takedowns re-checks every dispatched URL automatically. If content is still up after the expected window, the case is re-flagged for escalation, and the notice is re-sent with the failure context attached.

Yes. Account deletion removes your fingerprints, findings, dispatch history, and case notes within 30 days. You can also request an immediate hard delete from the dashboard. We retain only the minimum required by law (for example, financial records) and nothing else.

You don’t have to manage this alone.

A confidential case takes two minutes to open. We’ll handle the watching, the queueing, and the dispatching — you decide when and how to engage.
