If intimate images of you were shared without your consent, you are not alone, and it is not your fault. Here is what to do, one step at a time. First, stabilise. You do not have to do everything today.

Then preserve evidence before you remove anything: the page, the address, and the date. It matters later, for platforms and for police. Next, register a hash. StopNCII for adults, Take It Down for anyone under eighteen.

Partner platforms block matching uploads, and the image itself never leaves your device. Then file with every site hosting the images, and with Google and Bing so the results disappear from search. Where it is a crime, and in most places it now is, report it. Copies can come back, so keep watching, or let something watch for you.

And look after yourself. There are support lines for exactly this, and you are allowed to hand the follow-up to someone else. If you do not want to do this alone, takedowns can carry it. We file the notices and the Google and Bing requests for you, nothing is sent without your approval, and you see every step.

The uploader never learns who filed. A free, private check is the first step, at takedowns dot vesamuni dot com. The full guide, with every link and form, is below.
